In 2011 DONG Energy, one of the leading energy groups in Northern Europe and based in Denmark, chose to use the Quickflange solution on the Siri platform, offshore Denmark.

Customer Challenge

The Siri platform, which has been producing since 1999, was at the time operating at a reduced production capacity due to an issue with a 10 inch upstream crude oil line.

Solved in Five Days!

Quickflange was asked to deliver its pipe connection solution for  the 10 inch pipe. Within five days Quickflange was able to manufacture, test and install the solution consisting of two ASME 150# 10 inch Sch20 A350LF2 flanges. The Siri platform is operating at full production capacity again.
